OFFICE MANAGER

HOURS: 6-8 hours per week

SALARY: £4,239-5,653 (FTE: £26,500)

START DATE: February 2025

The Office Manager will be the first point of contact for visitors and people contacting the church via phone and email during their working hours. This role will also oversee some of our administrative processes in the office and will support the Vicar. The person in this role will oversee the whole process of hiring out our spaces from first enquiries to liaising with customers to make sure that their event runs smoothly. A key aspect of this will be to market the spaces we have and generate new room booking opportunities.

The job is a permanent contract. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check with references. Pension is provided. Holiday allowance is 25 days including Bank Holidays pro-rata.

There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the post holder is a practicing Christian.

SPORT AND FAITH MINISTER

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

SALARY: £23,400-27,000 (depending on experience)

START DATE: As Soon as possible

To lead and develop sports mission, to reach children, young people and adults (both churched and unchurched) with the good news of Jesus. This involves providing opportunities for people of all ages and exercise ability in Barnwell to explore, and engage with the gospel, as well as effectively discipling young people who play sport at competitive level. The role also includes a significant amount of time working in partnership with local churches, schools and charities so good interpersonal skills are essential.

The job is a fixed term (2 years) contract. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check with references. Pension is provided. Holiday allowance is 26 days.
